The one-hour talk will include a guided meditation that will provide attendees a chance to experience simple but powerful meditation techniques. No special beliefs or previous experience required.
***WEEKEND*** Lectures, Classes and ‘Kriya Yoga’ initiation Ceremony.
Conducted by Bro. Bhumananda and Bro. Vidurananda.
Yogananda said … Every spiritual thought you think, will be your eternal friend. And every evil inclination you acquire, will be your enemy for a long, long time; it will pursue you, until you slay it. Remember that.
Balance material and spiritual duties in your life; that will bring you supreme happiness.
~Awake, sleep no more~
Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings include a system of ancient meditation techniques as part of the science of Kriya Yoga. These techniques are available through the Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons.
Author of the best-selling spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi, this beloved world teacher came to America in 1920 from his native India, and was one of the early pioneers of yoga in the West, where he lived and taught for an extended period (more than 30 years). He is widely recognized as the Father of Yoga in the West and was recently the subject of an award winning documentary film, “AWAKE: The Life of Yogananda”. He founded Self-Realization Fellowship (1920) and Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (1917), both of which continue to spread his spiritual legacy worldwide.
